Rihanna is really doing the damn thang…I announced last week that Rihanna will be performing at the Inauguration for President-elect Barack Obama. Now we hear that she will join Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy and Lifehouse for the National Football League’s Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash at Tampa, Florida’s Ford Amphitheatre. The Super Bowl Bash will air live on VH1 Thursday, January 29th, at 9 pm. Jerry O’Connell will host the star-studded concert.

Congrats to Rihanna. She will be taking part in the inaugural celebration for our President elect Barack Obama. She has been chosen to headline the Recording Industry Association of America’s Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball, to benefit Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization.

Chris Brown and his girl Rihanna are being sued for $1Million! A photographer has filed a lawsuit claiming that he was beaten and robbed by the singers’ bodyguards back in May in St. Petersburg, FL. During Chris’ bday party, Luis Santana, 25, was left battered and bruised after being attacked after trying to take pictures of the couple outside the Vintage nightclub. Santana works for a local newspaper…he even took pictures of his bodily injuries for evidence. Additionally, his $3,000 camera was stolen and then smashed. He is also suing three other bodyguards and the nightclub. Oh boy!

For the past few years we’ve heard stupid rumors about the Bey/Rihanna/Jay-Z love triangle. Even after Jay married his girl Beyonce, people still talked about how Rihanna and Jay had a secret relationship going on. Well, Rihanna’s ex-Publicist…said he started all the rumors!

In an interview with Associated Content, publicist Jonathan Hay comes clean about creating the bogus rumor. Hay has a “tell all” book coming out entitled Publicity Stunt: The Art of Noise. Hay XPOSES different situations during his tenure as a publicist. The most significant, perhaps, may be his involvement with Rihanna.

Hay speaks of trying to get Rihanna and the producer of her first single “Pon De Replay” Vada Nobles some light in a crowded pop music field. After failed attempts to push “Pon De Replay” to the masses, Hay then reveals that he made up stories to get the artist some attention. I guess thats how it works these days!

“Along with one of my partners, I then began to fabricate stories of Rihanna and Jay-Z, leaking false rumors to tabloids, working internet message boards, etc,” Hay reveals. “We started to get an insane amount of media coverage very fast. Rumors have been storming the internet of a new Rihanna demo that was leaked
called “Bitch Im Special,” slated for her next album…….ARE NOT TRUE.

As we all await with anticipation the release of Rihanna’s next album,
unfortunately all of the internet rumors in regards to the leaked demo “Bitch
Im Special” are not true. “Bitch Im Special” was written and produced by
Multi-platinum producer Chad B, and was co-written and demoed by Michaela
Shiloh, a singer/songwriter signed to Chad’s production company, Tastemaker
Music.

“Bitch Im Special” was submitted to Def Jam A&R Jay Brown last month, and
despite what the internet is reporting was not placed on her next album. Chad
is not sure how the demo was leaked, but appreciates all of the comments, the
amount of feedback generated all over the internet, and the world for that
matter. Both Jay Brown and Chad have spoken in regards to the situation to
clear up any and all rumors of a possible hoax, or of this demo being purposely
leaked.

Chad’s most recent hits include include Ashanti & Robin Thicke (The Things You
Make Me Do) which he co-wrote and produced, as well as Jim Jones single

We reported last Friday that Rihanna got sick and ran off stage in Sydney, Australia during her concert. But her reps say it was nothing serious. “It was very hot at the venue, so after Rihanna’s set was over, she went off stage to sit down, catch her breath and have some water,” her rep told E! News.

The 20-year-old was performing her last song of the night, “Umbrella,” with her boyfriend, Chris Brown, when she left the stage after finishing her last verse. Brown ended up finishing the song for his girl.

We hear that Rihanna passed out during a performance in Australia recently. Reportedly Rihanna was on stage performing her hit song “Umbrella” when half way through the song she hunched over in obvious discomfort and begin signaling that she wasn’t feeling well. Rihanna then ran off the stage and
paramedics immediately rushed to her side. Chris Brown finished the song and ended the show. After which he immediately rushed backstage to be at Rihanna’s side. Rihanna was taken to a local hospital for observation. Hope she’s ok!

So we hear that Chris Brown and Rihanna are super pissed at Ne-Yo who revealed to UK’s Daily Sun’s newspaper about Chrianna’s private romance. “At first I did question whether it was real, but I’m good friends with both of them and I know that they are in a genuine relationship,” Ne-Yo told the British tab on October 13. Well, Chris and Ri Ri heard about the article and were very upset that Ne-Yo “xposed” them. “I heard recently they were a little upset with me,” Ne-Yo said at the Vacheron Constantin event in New York October 22. Supposedly Rihanna and Kanye West were caught getting  “really close” backstage at a T.I. concert at the Key Club in L.A. earlier this week. This is what STAR MAGAZINE had to say:

“The Barbadian beauty was spotted cuddling Kanye West backstage at a T.I. concert at the Key Club in Hollywood on Oct. 3. “Rihanna and Kanye hung out together after they performed their songs,” says an insider. “Rihanna was sitting on Kanye’s lap, concert along to the music. Before long, the two were full-on kissing each other.” Adds the source, “People were shocked. After a while, Rihanna must have realized people were watching, because she had her security escort her back to the dressing room.”

Ri Ri and Chris do everything together…Literally Everything…The couple are both coming out with their own clothing lines. Rihanna has confirmed that she is working on her own edgy clothing designs. She was a front row guest at Fashion Week and runway shows this year. “I can’t say when it will be released, but it’s definitely going to happen. I’m not one to rush into anything. I want to take my time”, Rihanna said. She also has teamed up with H&M to design a range of casualwear as part of the Fashion Against Aids campaig.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks recently admitted that she has or had a big crush on Chris Brown. Jordin said she was disappointed when she found out that Chris was dating Rihanna. “Rihanna came to the video shoot (for No Air). I didn’t know they were dating - they were doing the ‘just good friends’ thing in the media - and I thought ‘Oooh, maybe I have a chance’.” “But it’s not to be. They are a sweet couple. I wish them all the best,” Jordin stated.

Well, Chris Brown heard about Jordin’s secret crush and made her away that he has not INTEREST. “I heard that [she has a crush on me],” said Chris at the 5th annual Fashion Rocks show in NYC on September 5th.

“But when we did that video, I didn’t feel that chemistry. I didn’t feel that. When they yell action, you have to put on a certain performance, but as far as off-camera: there’s no connection.”

Who watched the 2008 VMA’s last night???I thought it was straight…The best performances of the night (in my opinion) were Rihanna’s opening performance, T.I. ft. Ri Ri, Christina Aguilera, and Pink…Lil Weezy and T-Pain were straight, but I’ve seen them do the same routine before…nothing special! Kanye’s finale performance was the BOMB! I love how he actually sang a whole song! His voice isn’t that bad either!!!!
