Robin Thicke was prepared and proud to preview his upcoming album entitled “Something Else” at a listening party held in LA on Wednesday. Before playing his anticipated album, he thanked Interscope for the ‘honor to do this one more time’ and declared that the listening soiree was ‘a celebration. It’s the Barack Obama era: yes, we can!’ LOL! The album is set to drop on July 1 under the Star Trak/Interscope label. The first single will be “Magic” which is an uptempo song described by Billboard as  “a further expansion of the sultry, classic R&B sound that powered his 2006 breakthrough, ‘The Evolution of Robin Thicke.” (more…)

I knew it! A couple of weeks ago, we suspected that Robin Thicke and his wife were expecting. We were right! Essence.com has confirmed the two are expecting their first child due this Spring. HOW CUTE! Congrats!

Rumor has it that Paula Patton, Robin Thicke’s wife, is preggers!  From the looks of Paula Patton’s midsection at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club opening in Vegas on New Years Eve, she looks like she is well into her pregnancy (Check out the pic above)…But then again, it could have been the dress! Robin Thicke’s reps refuse to comment on the rumor. We’ll keep you posted!

Paula Patton was surprised on the set of the new film “Push” on Tuesday by her husband, R&B Singer Robin Thicke. Thicke surprised her for her birthday. He sang Happy Birthday and even brought along a Mariachi Band!

Robin Thicke has been told by a doctor to rest his vocal due to an undisclosed vocal ailment. He has been forced to put a hold  on his U.S. tour this week.  “All tour dates must be rescheduled due to doctor-ordered vocal rest until the end of the year,” said a Sunday (11/11) blog posting at Thicke’s MySpace page. “Thank you for your understanding and support.” he says.

Robin Thicke will continue promoting his “Evolution” CD throughout the fall with 14 new dates to begin Nov. 11 in Englewood, CO.  Though he’s still riding high on the success of his current album, the performer – and son of actors Alan Thicke and Gloria Loring – is already working on his next record and has about half of the material written, according to various reports.
