Last year, Sherri filed to divorce her husband after learning that he fathered a child with another woman. According to the divorce papers, Sherri claimed that the public nature of her husband’s affair, damaged her ability to do draw fans as a “Christian comedian.”

Actress Sherri Shepherd will be introduced next week as a new cast member on “The View”. Shepherd is no stranger to “The View.” She was a guest host more than a dozen times, many of them this summer as she tried out for a cast slot left empty since Star Jones Reynolds left last summer.
