Congrats to the New York Yankees who won the WORLD SERIES. Mary J. Blige was chosen to sing the National Anthem last night and she tore it up!!!! (see video below). The New York-born Blige, wearing a World Series jacket and a Yankees jersey, said: “I have never done it before, so I’m kind of nervous. But I’m mostly excited because this is my hometown. Not bad for Miami Heat’s Opening Night. The team won, 115-93, against the Knicks yesterday. Dwayne Wade scored a game-high 26 points in 37 minutes. A revived Jermaine O’Neal added 22points, 12 rebounds and overpowered David Lee. Second-year forward Michael Beasley added 21. (more…)
