So we hear that rapper T.I. and his longtime girlfriend of nearly a decade, “Tiny” are thinking about gettin’ hitched before he gets locked up. A source says “They’re having a small, intimate ceremony… It will be private and it will happen before T.I. (enters prison).”  Not sure how true this is, but I guess we’ll find out sooner than later. The couple have been together since 2001. They have six kids, 3 from T.I.’s previous relationship, 1 from Tiny’s former boyfriend, and 2 together.

I heard today on the radio that T.I. will be turning himself in today to serve his year long prison sentence for federal weapons and possession charges. A lot of fans called into the radio station very emotional about the whole thing. You will get to witness T.I. turning himself in during the last episode of MTV’s “Road to Redemption”. T.I. will spend about a year in prison just as his career is at its peak. His latest album, “Paper Trail,” has sold almost two million copies, charted two smash No. 1 songs, and a third with Justin Timberlake is near the top of the charts.

We’ll miss T.I., but I’m sure he will be out sooner than we think. At least I hope!

In related news, T.I. took some time out to kick it with Sister 2 Sister Publisher Jamie Foster Brown in his kitchen. Who woulda thought T.I. knew how to throw down in the kitchen. Jamie says “By the time I got to get to the kitchen, Tip was already in there going to work. He was shaking up something in a bag. It was fish! After watching this fine piece of leather mix the fish batter for his tilapia and stir his special marinade for the shrimp, I told him that he should think about creating his own cooking show.” Check out T.I. going to work!

Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, former star of 90s girl group Xscape and fiancee of rap star T.I., has opened a new nail salon in Stockbridge, GA. The salon entitled “Tiny’s Nail Bar” features manicures, pedicures, massages, complimentary health drinks and juices and more. It is a full-service nail salon with full-service bar. “I’m very picky about my nails and hair, so I’m going to make sure that I do my best to deliver top-notch customer service,” Tiny tells Essence.

T.I. is going to have to cough up some more money for child support. On Wednesday, an Atlanta Judge is requiring T.I. to increase his payments to his ex, LaShon Dixon. The Associated Press reveals that Tip will now have to pay the mother of two of his sons, $5,000 a month, instead of the $3,000 agreed upon in November. However, the King of the South will no longer be responsible for paying for the children’s schooling as originally ordered.

T.I. is currently preparing to serve a one-year sentence for felony gun charges next month. He is Miami today for his last “Live your Life” concert featuring Young Jeezy, Sean Paul, Lloyd & More!

Rapper T.I. said that he spoke with Chris Brown following his recent arrest in L.A. on suspicion of felony criminal threats against his girlfriend Rihanna. T.I. interview with Last Call with Carson Daly yesterday. “Yeah, I spoke to him today,” T.I. confirmed to Carson. “He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris.”  T.I. told Brown’s fans that they should refrain from making negative judgments about Chris. “Hey man, you people gotta remember, we celebrities and we entertainers but we still human. All of us. Don’t expect us not to make mistakes ‘cause we will”, T.I. said. “I told him this too shall pass”.
