Babyface, 50, and his girlfriend Nicole Pantenburg, 35, are pregnant with their first child. The baby is said to be due the end of 2008. Reps for the singer say “Babyface is thrilled about the pending bundle of joy.” An insider also reveals that Tracey Edmonds, Babyface’s ex wife, is very happy for the him. “They have a great relationship and she’s happy for them both,” the insider said in a statement.

Tracey once became the subject of media attention with her brief marriage to actor-comedian Eddie Murphy. As for Babyface, he reportedly has been dating Nikki since January 2007. Despite her pregnancy, the couple, however, are said to have no plans to wed.

A UK newspaper is claiming that Diddy Combs and Tracey Edmonds were spotted together looking very “lovey dovey”. They also claimed that Tracey admitted to dating Diddy which sounds BOGUS.  U.K.’s Daily Mail quoted Edmonds as saying: “Diddy is the funniest man I ever met” and that she’s “so lucky to find someone so soon after Eddie.” She was also quoted as saying that Diddy is more of a man than Murphy. YEAH RIGHT!

In Tracey’s defense, her reps tell People Magazine, “Tracey Edmonds never uttered the words quoted in the [tabloid],”. Tracey’s Rep continues by saying the news on the UK newspaper was “a complete fabrication.” “Sean is very single. He and Tracey have known each other for over 10 years.”   

Tracey Edmonds has bounced back from her short lived wedding with Eddie Murphy. She is now dating Chef Rocco DiSpirito. The two attended the “Smart People” after party at the Bowery Hotel in NYC last night. Sources say they looked very happy together and held hands and shared kisses throughout the evening.

Tracey Edmonds is upset about Johnny Gill’s recent interview wherein he “xposed” her business. She called radio personality Doug Banks Monday morning to address his recent telephone interview with Johnny Gill regarding her wedding disaster with former fiancé Eddie Murphy.

As reported yesterday, Gill commented on reports that Murphy’s mother Lillian got into an argument with Edmonds’ mom during the now separated couple’s “spiritual ceremony” in Bora Bora. Remember, Gill told the radio personality,  “One of Tracey’s guests said some things that were inappropriate that triggered everything with the mom, and that’s how it all started.”

Well, Doug Banks told his listeners that Tracey had called in, but was unable to talk on the radio due to a gag order and confidentiality agreement she signed with her ex, Eddie Murphy. However her Publicist released an official statement:  

“I was very shocked and disappointed to hear of Johnny Gill’s false spin on the chain of events surrounding our wedding. His outrageous lies were clearly a very desperate and pathetic attempt to clean up his reputation at my expense. I would appreciate it if Mr. Gill would refrain from continuing to spread false gossip and lies to the public, and allow everyone involved to move on with their lives. We all know the real truth.”

Xposed! Gill also tried to explain what Murphy was thinking when he famously picked up a transvestite prostitute in West Hollywood. He said: “Somebody walks up that you assume is a fine girl that spots you and approaches you, you’re thinkin’ ‘Hey shoot, it’s my lucky night.’ He had no other choice but to bite the bullet and say ‘Hey, I was just helping her out and giving her a ride.’” LOL!

It all began right after the wedding. The honeymoon got off to a rocky start. “Eddie started yelling at Tracey in front of people,” says one of Edmonds’s wedding guests. “He did it on a few occasions and it was very embarrassing.”  Since the wedding took place in a foreign country, the marriage was not legalized. The couple planned on having a legal ceremony in the U.S. soon, but its off now. Murphy and Edmonds started dating in the fall of 2006 and got engaged last July.

Tracey Edmonds may be in for a big surprise…Gossip reporter Janet Charlton wrote on her blog about Eddie Murphy’s strict rules in his home. The rules were enforced in his marriage with Nicole Murphy, and they haven’t changed for Tracey Edmonds.

       Charlton wrote on her blog:  “Eddie has strict rules. He expected his beautiful wife Nicole to appear at the breakfast table every day with her makeup and hair DONE, and looking very together. But she was for his eyes only. He instructed every guy who worked at the house – gardeners, repairmen, pool men etc, NOT to look directly at her! Anyone caught staring at Nicole was instantly fired. We’re guessing he’ll have to lighten up on the rules with Tracey. But how does he explain Johnny Gill living in a wing of the house”?

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds married on New Year’s Day on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia reports People magazine. They married in front of 25 guests which consisted of close friends and family. We hear that Tracey walked down to Gladys Knight’s “Making of You” barefoot on the beach during their sunset ceremony on Tuesday. The bride wore a custom-designed form-fitting dress by stylist and designer Sugia Nazel and Jill Baracci, designer and owner of Baracci boutique. Murphy wore a cream suit and vest with an off-white handkerchief. There guest included best man Johnny Gill, maid of honor Nicole Avant, matron of honor Julie Lev, as well as Edmonds’s parents Jacqueline and George McQuarn, her brother Michael, Murphy’s mother Lillian Lynch and his brother Vernon. Tracey Edmonds, who is 40, surprised her bridesmaids with gold and diamond earrings from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, and Murphy, 46, gave his groomsmen D.Atlantis watches. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous witnesses say…Congrats! 

Tracey Edmonds and Eddie Murphy are set to get married in Tahiti this weekend. E! reports guest and members of the wedding party are expected to arrive in Tahiti sometime today. “It’s a small, private affair,” the source says. “The bridesmaid dresses are all custom from somewhere in Beverly Hills. They just had their final fittings.” If this is true, congrats!

In the October issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine, Tracey Edmonds gets candid about the day she became engaged to Eddie Murphy. She says the actor popped the question in July while they were watching TV. He walked over to her casually, and then surprised her by getting down on bended knee, she recalled.

When she asked him what he was doing, he replied, “I’m about to ask you to marry me,” before he presented her with a canary yellow square diamond, surrounded by two white diamonds in a platinum setting. She says: “I was speechless for a moment when I first saw it.” Wedding plans are currently underway, she adds, but the nuptials will not be on the grand scale of her lavish ceremony with singer/songwriter Kenneth ” Babyface” Edmonds. She tells the magazine she envisions “a very intimate ceremony,” stating, “My bridal party would be much smaller than my first wedding.” However, the small affair will still cost a pretty penny if she gets her way – because she’s hoping to take the plunge in “a romantic, secluded spot outside the United States.”
