Fashion and Music fused together makes great TV. BET taped their annual “Rip the Runway” over the weekend at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Saturday. The fashion show showcased prominent and up & coming African American designers during performances by America’s hottest urban stars. Check out the pics:

The show was hosted by two popular personalities; hip-hop’s barbie doll, Nikki Minaj, and actor Pooch Hall. Veteran rapper Ludacris blazed the opening of the show with help from hostess Nicki Minaj, as they performed his new singles; “My Girl Like”, and “How Low” to Keva swim wear line.

Blogs have been roasting Whitney Houston all week after clips of a hoarse, breathless and SWEATY Houston surfaced on the net. Some say she may be back on that “crack” again. Concert goers who attended Monday’s show in Brisbane say that she relied on her brother, backup singer Gary Houston, and other vocalists to help out. (see video)

She also reportedly took frequent time-outs, including stopping for a sip of water smack in the middle of a croaky rendition of show-stopper “I Will Always Love You.”

Nevertheless, Whitney’s reps say that she is doing A-OK! “Whitney is in great health and having a terrific time on her tour and with her fans,” says publicist Kristen Foster. “There were over 9,000 people at her show in Brisbane, and there were over 12,000 at Acer Arena last night in Sydney. Her fans were dancing and singing along with her and Whitney appreciates their support.”

Dang, did Tiger Woods extramarital affairs rush his mother-in-law to the hospital? Well according to news reports, Elin Nordegren’s mother is in stable condition after being rushed to a hospital early Tuesday morning from Tiger Woods’ $2.6 million mansion. Earlier today it was reported that an unidentified, middle-aged blonde woman was admitted to Health Central Hospital in Ocoe, Fla., after having stomach pains. NBC News is now identifying the woman as Barbro Holmberg, 57. She is in stable condition. Poor thang!

We heard that Woods’ wife Elin is moving out, as 10 women are now romantically linked to the golfer. SMH!

In related news, according to news reports, the person who hooked up Elin and Tiger Woods says he regrets it! Jesper Parnevik thought he was doing a good thing for his nanny, Elin Nordegren, in 2001 when he introduced the blonde to up-and-coming golfer Tiger Woods. Now, he’s regretting that the two hit it off, got married, had a kid, then wound up in this recent car crash/affair mess.

I feel really sorry for Elin,” he told The Golf Channel (via Yahoo! Sports). “I would be especially sad about it since I’m kind of … I really feel sorry for Elin, since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him. We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of the 3-iron.”

Fantasia’s anticipated VH1 reality show, “Fantasia for Real,” will premiere on Jan. 11, 2010 at 10 p.m. and follow the “American Idol” champ as she juggles single motherhood with the recording of her third album.

The cast of BET’s “The Game” hopped on a plane to head to ATL!  Will they be taping the new season of “The Game” there?

S2S Magazine reports:

Drew Sidora told us a couple of weeks ago that BET had officially picked up “The Game” for new episodes, and she let it slip that filming might move to Atlanta. Imagine our surprise when we found out that five of the six main cast members were on their way to the ATL!

“Yo wutup Twit FaM me and @Tiamowry r racing to see who gets it out 1st! We THE GAME cast r on the plane right now on our way2 ATL,” Pooch blasted on Twitter Monday evening. Also on board were Tia Mowry, Hosea Chancez, Coby Bell and Brittnay Daniel. Noticeably missing from the flight was Wendy Raquel Robinson.

Hosea, on the other hand, just let the pictures tweet for themselves, and he posted a few snapshots of the cast on board

“We r so happy 2 be here in the ATL! It feels like THE GAME is back,” Pooch tweeted once they landed in Atltanta.

But before anyone gets too excited, it seems the team was actually there to tape an episode of “The Mo’Nique Show.” There’s no word on when that episode may air, though.

Paula Patton and Robin Thicke are expecting a baby.

The couple of fourteen years confirmed the news during Patton’s photo shoot with GIANT magazine. She was rumored to be pregnant earlier this year because she was spotted wearing a baby pooch, but this time around its legit.

Frederick Richardson, the man charged with voluntary manslaughter in the slaying of A.J. Jewell, the on-off fiancé of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, was released from Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail early Tuesday.

Magistrate Judge Karen Woodson released Richardson — who posted $10,000 bond — after an initial coroner’s report suggested the blood disorder sickle-cell anemia may have been a factor in Jewell’s death.

On Oct. 2, Jewell died in an brawl with Richardson in the parking lot of Body Tap, an ATL strip club co-owned by Jewell. According to ATL police, Richardson, worked at the club, struck Jewell in head, causing injuries that proved fatal.

Uh oh! Kourtney Kardashian’s L.A. home was robbed.

Access Hollywood reports:

Around $80,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from Kourtney Kardashian’s home on Saturday, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The theft at the star’s Calabasas, Calif., residence is under investigation, LA County Sheriff Sgt. Kristy Criner told People.

“That’s what was discovered missing in the initial investigation,” Sgt. Criner said. “Sheriff’s investigators and our crime lab are responding on the scene.”

Kourtney’s burglary is the latest to strike Young Hollywood in the last year — as previously reported by AccessHollywood.com, Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge’s homes were robbed in recent months as well. A suspect in the burglaries, 18-year-old Nicholas Prugo, was arrested in September on charges of felony burglary.

The LAPD previously confirmed to Access that three burglars were captured by security cameras exiting a Hollywood Hills home believed to be Lindsay’s in the early morning of Sunday, August 23. A pair of burglars also attempted unsuccessfully to gain access to the home on May 12.

Tyler Perry knows how to deliver a story through a film. That is why Perry is set to write, direct, and producer Ntozake Shange’s award-winning 1975 play ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow is Enuf.’ It will be the first project made under his new production company, 34th Street Films.

‘For Colored Girls’ is a series of 20 poems performed through a cast of nameless women, each known only by a color. The subject matter is a bit heavy, with Lady in Blue chooses to have an abortion, Lady in Red tells a tale of domestic violence but we hear its a must-read.

Perry states: “Making a film of ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow is Enuf’ is a dream come true for me. Ntozake Shange’s play is a magnificent tribute to the strength and dignity of women of color, and I think audiences of all generations will be able to recognize and embrace the experiences these women represent. Creatively, this movie is one of the most exciting undertakings of my career, and I’m excited to start production this November.”

The film will feature an all-star cast of female actors.

“I Can Do Bad All By Myself” will be in theatres soon and a 2010 release date is already set for “Why Did I Get Married Too?”. Tyler Perry is going to running Hollywood!

Rumor has it they were filming an upcoming episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. WOW! We also hear that Rihanna joined the two moguls for the filming.
