For those of you who attended Jazz in the Gardens this weekend, you will concur when I say it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to in awhile! The concert was one of the most anticipated jazz festivals in South Florida. Held at the Dolphin Stadium in Miami Gardens, over 45,000 people attended the two day celebration. It was hosted by the infamous Tom Joyner. Performers included, Common, Will Downing, Anthony Hamilton, Babyface, Kenny G, Erykah Badu, and much more!

I had a blast! One of the highlights for me is seeing former couple Common reunite with Erykah Badu on the stage as she sang along with him. Looks like they still have great respect for eachother. Look at the chemistry in the pic! Awwww

Now I know why Omarion has taken such a big hiatus and hasn’t returned back to the music industry. Rumor has it from very credible sources that Omarion got married to his long time girlfriend (seen in the above picture) last spring. So you are probably saying SO WHAT MISS XPOSE? Well the funny thing is that she is a stripper at Magic City, Atlanta’s popular strip club. I didn’t believe it until I saw her in a Magic City advertisement (see below). She’s very pretty, why not just try out for America’s Next Top Model. SMH! Hey I can’t knock the hustle! Do you!

I guess its a new trend…Kanye and Amber (who’s an ex stripper)…Now, Omarion and her…? Question is, can you really turn a “hoe” into a housewife! Apparently So! Nevertheless, Congrats O!

The First Lady Michelle Obama has become a comic book hereo. The biographical comic book is scheduled to be released next month. Mrs. Obama will become part of the Female Force series from publisher Bluewater Productions. The Michelle Obama Comic book which is scheduled to be released on April 25th, documents her growing up up in her middle-class South Shore home, attending Princeton University, and helping her husband become the nation’s first President of color. The book will sell for $3.99.

Meanwhile, chicken fingers have been named after the President. The frozen food product, described by the company Sprehe as “tender, juicy pieces of chicken breast, coated and fried,” said it is using the U.S. president’s name because he symbolizes hope, and in this struggling economy, hope sells. LOL HOT MESS!

The Dream had a Black Tie Album Release Party held at Hiro Ballroom in New York City. Celebrity Guests also included Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, Fabolous, and the cast of Harlem Heights. Of course his date of the night was guess who….Christina Milian!

After serving almost a 14 year sentence after he was found guilty of possessing 31lbs of liquid cocaine at an airport, rapper John Forte landed a new job as a teacher with the City of College of New York. He starts on March 31st and will work with In Arms Reach, a program which provides a positive environment for at-risk youth and children of incarcerated parents. Forte will teach a twelve-week course geared towards students aged 12-15. He will use music as a therapeutic means to address stress, anger and pain. “John hopes that the catharsis of song composition will help children deal with the stigma of having a family member who is incarcerated and rebuild the spirit of those who have been traumatized or abandoned,” a representative for Forte told AllHipHop.com. As previously reported, Forte received a presidential pardon from President George W. Bush in November of 2008.
