Did yall see Warren Sapp and the other celebs on Dancing with the Stars last night? Sapp, as big as he is, was very light on his feet…I was impressed! Check him out if you missed it:
Lance Bass, former member of N’Sync, was really good. Toni Braxton did her thing..Kim Kardashian was a bit stiff! Don’t you think?
Who watched it? Let us know what you thought…
Finally…The Dancing with the Stars cast has been officially announced today. We previously leaked the speculated cast list, but this one is official. The diverse lineup includes soap star Susan Lucci, recent Beijing Olympics gold medal winner Misty May-Treanor, Kim Kardashian and former ‘N Sync star Lance Bass. The cast also has the oldest-ever competitor, actress Cloris Leachman, 82, and the youngest-ever competitor with Hannah Montana actor Cody Linley, 18. Also included in this season’s cast is former NFL star, Warren Sapp, and singer Toni Braxton!
Here’s the rundown of celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners ready to mambo for the mirror-ball trophy:
• Toni Braxton, singer, 40, and season one DWTS champ Alec Mazo
• Lance Bass, singer, 29, and Lacey Schwimmer
• Ted McGinley, actor, 50, and Inna Brayer
• Cloris Leachman, actress, 82, and Corky Ballas
• Warren Sapp, former NFL star, 35, and Kym Johnson
The new line up for “Dancing with the Stars” has been leaked. We hear that Retired NFL star Warren Sapp will be joing the celebrities set to appear on the next season of the popular show. Al Sharpton has gone public and rejected ABC’s offer for him to join the cast. Sharpton says he rather spend the time focusing on voter education and politics.
TMZ.com has reported that “Dancing” producers are “trying to create some major drama” with the casting, “possibly by pairing exes up against each other or people who have had some sort of turbulent relationship.” WOW! We also hear that Kim Kardashian has been asked to join the cast, along with Lance Bass and Florence Henderson. But Kardashian told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show “I don’t know where that’s coming from … (but) I would be honored if they asked me. I can get down in a club.” (more…)
Warren Sapp has finally confirmed his retirement in a simple two-word statement that he posted on his Web site back in January: “I’M DONE!” Sapp said that he would retire immediately after last season, but he failed to file the paper work. Go Figure? However, the posting on the his team’s Web site was the first official word that the all star defensive tackle will not return in the fall. Best Wishes to Sapp!
