Keyshia Cole was interviewed by HOT 97’s Angie Martinez a couple weeks ago. It got really personal and Keyshia Cole revealed her feelings about her ex, Young Jeezy after Funk Master Flex interrogated her, LOL! Thanks to my girl Necole Bitchie. I’ve been looking for this interview for a lil minute.

Keyshia Says:

I just couldn’t do it. It’s weird. After this guy proposed to me, I was like, dang, this is everything a woman lives for: to be married, with a ring, to be able to represent something. But for me, it was the opposite. I was scared. When you get married, you become one; you don’t live just for yourself anymore. I’m just not ready for that. I’m not done with my goals in life. What’s the word when you just kind of fall back and let your man do the man thing? Submit? I’m all jacked up on that word. I just couldn’t submit. But I loved him. That’s the crazy thing about it.

Celebrities everywhere were so happy to hear the news last night. Even Young Jeezy was riding up and down Peachtree Street in his hometown Atlanta playing his song “My President” all night! Every car he passed followed along. It was crazy I hear!

Young Jeezy is still on his political campaign to get everyone to vote. The Snowman is leaning heavily toward the Democratic side, especially since Republican presidential nominee John McCain chose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate.

“I like Joe [Biden] a little bit better than Sarah,” Jeezy said recently. “I understand she’s the soccer mom and all that, and that’s good. But if something happens to McCain, then what? Do you want a soccer mom to run the country? That’s cool. I mean, she can run the house, though. I like Joe, though. Definitely. You got to be tough. I mean, I’m definitely not saying anything against what women do, but at the same time, Joe’s firm, Barack [Obama]’s firm. They’re straight to the point. They don’t beat around the bush. Both parties can do the job, but if I had my pick, I’m definitely going with Joe and Barack.” (more…)

Young Jeezy’s album “The Recession” hit stores this past Tuesday (Sept. 2) and Jeezy has added on voter awareness to promotional tour for his new LP. Jeezy and his CTE label mates and staff will host a voter registration drive on Thursday (September 4) at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Justin’s Restaurant from 5pm-8pm today. Justin’s is located at 2200 Peachtree Road in the posh Buckhead section of Atlanta. Jeezy, who is 31, will also join the voting process as he will be registering to vote for the VERY FIRST TIME. That’s wasup Jeezy! BE SURE TO REGISTER TO VOTE! LET US ALL BE PART OF CHANGE!

Young Jeezy expands his talent from rapper to actor and will be starring in a major motion picture produced by Ice Cube called “Jank Promoters”. The comedy, which is Cube’s first screenplay since 2002’s Friday After Next, will feature Cube along with Jeezy, comedian Mike Epps and actor Terry Crews. That should be funny!

In related news…Young Jeezy who expressed his support for Barack Obama recently said in a Vibe Magazine interview that he is cool with John McCain. The two met during an appearance on Saturday Night Live last month.

“No disrespect to my man Barack, but I f*ck with John McCain. He greeted me like a god,” he said. “The fact that he acknowledged me was crazy. I said, ‘I’m Young Jeezy, and it’s rough out here.’ He blew me off at first. I was like, ‘Nah, for real. It’s rough out here, so what you gonna do to change it?’ . . . After hearing the audio of Young Buck crying out to 50 Cent, Buck’s new manager Blue Williams has accused 50 Cent of “doctoring” that audio tape. Buck even released a diss track called “The Taped Conversation,” yesterday (listen below), calling 50 Cent dishonest and questioning the loyalty of remaining G-Unit member Lloyd Banks. Blue also revealed that the tape is over a YEAR OLD. “It was made over a year ago, the first time Buck was kicked out of G-Unit for being a man and communicating with people that 50 deemed his ‘enemies,” Williams said. “I am sure if need be there are plenty explosive G-Unit secrets that he could put out there from the inner workings of the crew, but he’s going to take the high road. He’s not interested in a pissing match with G-Unit because he’s moved on with his life since April, when he was kicked out the final time.” (more…)

Young Jeezy was arrested early Wednesday morning by Atlanta Police. The charges were misdemeanor charges, including driving while under the influence, speeding, reckless driving, no tags, driving with an open container and no proof of insurance.

According to police, Jeezy was stopped along Atlanta’s Buford Highway, near route I-85, for speeding. Police then noticed his car was missing its license plates. After that, “Everything just went from there,” police spokesperson Officer James Polite said. (more…)
