MTV is reporting that former Bad Boy rapper Mase is trying to work his way back to the label, and has even rhymed about his negotiations with head honcho Sean “Diddy” Combs in his song “Get It” with Cam’ron: ” ‘Mase, you come back if you get 50 percent?’/ I’m like, ‘Nah, if I come back I need Diddy percent.’ ” – he says…

Yesterday a judge signed an order that will see former Bad Boy recording artist Jamal “Shyne” Barrow receive two-and-a-half years of post-release supervision stemming from his 2001 conviction and sentencing in the infamous Club New York case. An attorney for Shyne (now going by Moses Levi after converting to Judaism while in prison) said that the order marked one of the last remaining hurdles in the way of his client’s release from prison in October. “I’m grateful,” a calm Shyne told the judge. Sean “Diddy” Combs has announced the creation of his new band Dirty Money. The band members consists of Combs, former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard, and songwriter Kalenna (both pictured above). “Dirty Money is not about no drug money, illegal money, or anything negative,” Combs explained. “Dirty Money is a look, a sound, a movement, [and] a crew. For my new album Last Train to Paris, I wanted to do something refreshing, something unique, something forward for myself as an artist…I’m a team player. I wanted to tell a love story…I couldn’t just tell the male’s point of view.” (more…)
