The release date for This Is It, the film that documents Michael Jackson’s rehearsals for his This Is It run of concerts at London’s O2 Arena is set for October 28th. We hear the theatrical run will only be in theatres for two weeks, but not sure if that’s true, because I’m sure the theatres will be overwhelmingly packed! The MTV Video Music Awards went down last night Live at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The show was dedicated to the legendary Michael Jackson which was introduced by a heartfelt speech by Madonna and a memorable performance by MJ’s sister, Janet Jackson. R. Kelly believes he is the best person to finish the album that Michael Jackson was working on when he died suddenly in June. “I recorded five joints for Michael Jackson (in the past). And we had been talking on the phone about his new album, and I was going to finish what Michael was doing at the time,” the singer told AOL Black Voices. Its official. The LA County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a HOMICIDE. AP reports that this finding will most likely mean criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with MJ when he died late June.

According to MSNBC, forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson’s death. Dr. Congrad Murray admits that the combination helped Jackson sleep two days prior to his death. The next day, the doctor say he cut off the propofol, but tried something else to assist Jackson with sleeping. But it was too many damn drugs! (more…)

It has been confirmed that Michael Jackson will be finally be laid to rest in Los Angeles’ Forest Lawn Cemetery on Aug. 29 at 10 a.m., more than two months after his death and on what would have been his 51st birthday. Man, what is taking so long
