Sean “Diddy” Combs has announced the creation of his new band Dirty Money. The band members consists of Combs, former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard, and songwriter Kalenna (both pictured above). “Dirty Money is not about no drug money, illegal money, or anything negative,” Combs explained. “Dirty Money is a look, a sound, a movement, [and] a crew. For my new album Last Train to Paris, I wanted to do something refreshing, something unique, something forward for myself as an artist…I’m a team player. I wanted to tell a love story…I couldn’t just tell the male’s point of view.” (more…)

You’ve seen Diddy create a hip-hop group, a female pop group, and a male R and B group. Now the grande impresario is creating a group for himself, to perform on what he is calling his last album. Diddy and his team will leave no stone unturned as they scour the country for musicians and back-up singers to bring his music to life. Diddy’s Making His Band premieres on MTV July 27 at 10PM ET/PT. Did you guys see the season premiere of RUN’s HOUSE on MTV this past Monday. Well, next week’s episode is going to be very interesting. The news of JoJo’s run-in with the law has the House that Rap built rocked to its core. It’s a time for the family to all be together and for the family rally around JoJo as Rev teaches them all to rebound from this and be stronger than ever. MTV “The Hills” villian Spencer Pratt is taking his career to another level…well, so he thinks! Pratt has announced that he is launching his rap career and calls himself “the white Jay-Z”…I kid you not! Pratt says he has already been working on his album. “I have two songs that are album contenders,” says Pratt, who is currently in the studio with producer Steve Morales (Lil Wayne, Fabolous). “It’s gonna be catchy ringtone music, just stuff that is entertaining and that people want to be hearing. I’m not the most serious dude on earth, and my music is going to represent that.” Dude says his current single “I’m a Celebrity” was recorded in part to promote his role on the NBC series, “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” (more…)

RUN’s HOUSE is back for its 6th Season! The season premiere will air on Monday, June 15 at 10 pm on MTV! I love this show. Check out the trailer! They will address JoJo’s recent arrest for buying weed and fleeing from police. LOL! this should be interesting.

Did you guys watch the MTV Movie Awards yesterday? Eminem was visibily upset and walked out of the MTV movie awards after being attacked by Bruno’s butt.  In another one of MTV’s infamous stunts, Sasha Baron Cohen who’s character is Bruno landed from the ceiling with his butt in Eminems face… Em was utterly PISSED.  The spoof Austrian fashion presenter then fell on to the rapper, who could then be heard shouting “Are you f****** serious?”

Did you watch the finale of “The Hills” last night? The Hills” finale arrived! In Lauren’s final episode, she had to decide whether she’s willing to forgive Spencer in order to be there for Heidi on the day of her “princess” wedding. When the entire cast shows up, the drama in the pews is greater than the drama at the altar, until everyone is surprised by a guest no one saw coming. Diddy has announced that super producer Rodney Jerkins is on deck and will have a prominent position on Diddy’s upcoming MTV reality series, “Starmaker.” Yes you heard it! Another Diddy reality show! ARGH! “Starmaker” is set to air sometime this year on MTV …Question is, Will you be tuning in?

Rappers T.I., Lil Wayne, and Flo Rida lead the pack of nominees for the MTV Best Male Video award to be handed out September 7 in Los Angeles at the 2008 VMA’s. As for categories in R&B, Usher and Chris have been nominated for the award.
